I am talking about the regional headline that was inserted in the national news headlines, like the BBC do. Pretty sure that ran from 2004 to about 2007.
Yeah, they used to do a summary of the main news towards the end of the Evening News (I can't think if they still do?). This featured a short regional opt. I can't really remember them ever using a regional headline in the opening segment - that's not to say that they don't.

The headlines were recapped during the EN, but the 10:30 and Lunchtime had them at the beginning.
I've noticed that from next week the "& Weather" part of the programmes title is scrapped, on the Ten only. A good move IMO.

I can't see the listings for Saturday 24th yet so I wonder if they will keep that ITV News and Weather or name it ITV Weekend News again
Of course, the 1:30 and 6:30 bulletins are currently named as such, and haven't been the Lunchtime and Evening News since the beginning of the car-park era. Is this an error on the part of the Radio Times, or are we returning to more generic names?
It's the same on Digiguide, though of course in practice they haven't been referred to them names in the branding since early 2004.
Notice the next week Julie fronts the Sunday bulletins and the Wednesday News at Ten at Eleven bulletin, with Tom hosting Mon/Tue and Thu/Fri. Alastair is back on the Evening News on the Friday.

So, this time tomorrow, the first Bradby at Ten will be over. I'm expecting it to be a car crash, but we'll see
I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking from tomorrow's debut of Bradby presentation wise. It's a soft launch which is designed to get things right for a more high profile relaunch of News at Ten in the new year.
In any case, they haven't got anything to lose in this period with the BBC continually having the lead in this slot.
