Glad to see they're dropping the stupid '...and Weather' in the listings.



I have it on good authority that the new titles will be more or less the same, but the usual stock images will be replaced by numerous shots showing Tom Bradby walking into ITN HQ, greeting the security staff; being met with adoring smiles as he walks through the ITV newsroom; being handed a cup of coffee in the staff kitchen by a smiling Julie Etchingham; exiting the newsroom with handfuls of papers and a bouquet of flowers; high-fiving Rageh Omaar on the way into the lift; then taking his place in the newscaster seat, straightening his tie and half-smiling into the camera as Big Ben strikes 22:04.

So, will there be any changes to the opening titles, studio etc? Or is it just the fact the presenting team is changing?

I know they won't do it again, but I would like to see integrated regional headlines, because I don't watch all the way through.

Suppose it jars a bit on STV and UTV. Surely though it wouldn't be hard to just record the lot?

Are you meaning the headlines when Scottish/Grampian had the regional news during the main ITV News bulletin?
