Just read that from 16 September, News at Ten will be on at Eleven, to make way for UCL highlights. If this is true, then I'm not impressed at all

Yes every Wednesday during Champions League match weeks, News at Ten will be at Eleven.

It makes sense really as otherwise the football highlights, which are a big deal considering up to now live games were free not just highlights, would be at 10:40 getting a tiny audience. Showing them at 10 is making them more centre stage.

Yes it disrupts News at Ten but that's just something they will have to happen.

"On the day of a nuclear holocaust, find out the latest in an hour with the ITV News, but first on ITV, Racing Sporting v Athletico Bacon in exclusive Champions League highlights."

News At Ten ended in 1999 but it returned in 2001, with Sir Trevor presenting the new-look bulletin with Julie Etchingham.

Erasing history... & Julie didnt join ITV until 2008 relaunch.

Robert is a fantastic reporter for the BBC, but I really think Chris Ship should have been offered the Political Editors job at ITV News - he deserves it! Also, what date does Tom Bradby start presenting duties on News At Ten?

If it was announced, it would be on here. Asking the question continually won't get answers.

That said, you haven't got long to wait.

Rageh getting the 6.30 and 10 gig this Friday, should certainly be interesting to see how he does on the flagship program.

Newsreading is hardly a difficult task for a long-serving broadcast journalist. As far as I know, Rageh has never slipped up in his career.

Have you watched Rageh present a bulletin? It's harder than it looks!
