The attention to detail is brilliant on the Andi & Edd signs, do you think that they copied the artwork or showed some kids some pictures and asked them to draw them?
I know that the Children's sign was still around, but would they be the original neon ring signs?
Did the walls have that yellow and purple effect on them?
I believe those signs originally were made by Greg Taylor who runs the unofficial Broom Cupboard website. I would be amazed if he hadn't been involved in the celebrations, not least for his VHS collection of junctions that the BBC didn't record.
We know BBC Salford has a great graphics designer, who I imagine will have been involved too.
Philippa Forester seems to be a notable absentee in the celebrations.
It's funny how some eras and presenters are more well remembered and have reached legendary status more than others. Toby Anstis and Zoe Ball's era for example never seems to be as well remembered, whereas Andi Peters seems to be ultimate CBBC legend.
Of course when the CBBC channel started lots of presenters came and went in a quick period of time when they used to do continuity all day. Fearne Cotton for example is more remembered for other kids shows rather than continuity.
I am so very excited to see my childhood hero, Otis the Aardvark returning to our screens. This programme looks as though it will be fab. The Studio 9 yellow period is the one I remember the best, as for some reason I gravitated towards CITV once they brought back in-vision continuity. But I do remember the early bugs era well too. It should be cracking on Wednesday - I'm absurdly excited about it!
Ugh, that is dreadful! Name changed to Donnie Murdo ... terrible audio dubbing, including theme song ... episode title slide looks like it's taken from an obscure cartoon from eastern Europe! Should've kept the original soundtrack, and used Gaelic subtitles instead.

Still, quite fun to think that this endcap is still getting an airing on a regular basis (on the BBC of all places!)
It's the same on Challenge, when they air Wheel of Fortune, Fun House, and Finders Keepers. The different Scottish TV endcaps that are on the TV just now is brilliant!

At least it's in a language hardly anybody speaks, so hardly anyone will have seen it XD
