Tom Bradby doing no harm to his credentials as a newscaster you can trust.
Quote:
The political editor at ITV News has described how he tried to save an elderly Greek man who deliberately drove his car into a harbour as officials stood by and did nothing.
Although his last tweet makes it sound like he's more pissed off about it ruining his holiday. ITV will be delighted with the publicity though, although most reports only mention his News at Ten appointment in passing.

It's been exactly two months, since the official press release stating Tom Bradby will present News At Ten. Does anybody know when we'll hear more information?

I'm sure if someone knew, they would have posted about it. The press release said Autumn - that could be next week (though not according to the listings), or late October.

Is there anyone who is still worried about these changes? I think Tom should be given a chance, but it's a shame that Alastair is moving from the 6.30 bulletin. It may have been his choice of course

It will be interesting to see when it is going to happen and if there are going to be any changes to the way the news is done other than the presenters? I am wondering if News At Ten will go back to the traditional news it was back in the 70s and 80s with a darker feel which was much better; it's own identity. We will have to wait and see.
Like was previously said; there will not be a complete revamp of ITV News as most of the regions have gone for the new generic sets which London, Granada and Wales have had for some time.

I always thought it was a bit strange how they brought News at Ten back in January 2008 with it's own identity and those amazing titles and music, then replaced it in November 2009 with the horrid yellow look. News at Ten should have it's own identity again and they could do it, without having to revamp the lunchtime and evening bulletins

I agree; but will they do it or are they possibly going to do it? The big questions.
