What's wrong with Naga? I've always found her to be a excellent presenter.
Me too. My comment above was actually in anticipation that Naga hosting would have been a big improvement on the normal style............

What I've seen of Naga on Derbyshire was very good and a massive improvement on Victoria.
However I suspect it's thanks to Naga presenting Breakfast which helps going between the fluff and newsy subjects. Still not suitable for the NC though.

I do think Naga Munchetty is vastly superior to Victoria Derbyshire. Its probably down to TV vs Radio experience. Derbyshire could potentially improve if the show stays.
Should we start a book on when this show will get canned? My money is on "its here forever in one form or another" - If only to annoy the detractors.
PS. There were many excellent puns on her initials in this post, but if i'd have left them in i definitely would have been banned.

Overall, over the 2 days that Naga has appeared, I think she is much more welcoming and warmly to the show then Victoria is. I think that comes as Naga has had experience on doing morning television throughout her career at the BBC going all the way back to Working Lunch, 7 years ago.
Much liked Naga doing the show, would've preferred the Naga Munchetty programme... Anyway, she said she's back next week. Julian is back for tomorrows show and I think Joanna is back on Friday.

I miss Working Lunch. I have no interest in finance or business but would find myself watching it just for Declan and Naga.
I think that comes as Naga has had experience on doing morning television throughout her career at the BBC going all the way back to Working Lunch, 7 years ago.

It's the same with Lorraine Kelly. I very rarely see her doing her show when I get to see it.
For it being the Victoria Derbyshire programme, she seems to have a LOT of cover !

Naga said yesterday that Julian Worricker was presenting today's programme. Assumed that Victoria is on holiday for the next two weeks as cover is rotaed for next week too according to iPlayer.
Victoria however is doing today's show, don't know whether that's because of the Kids Company news and an interview with their founder.
