Wonder what it will look like, and if another name change is on the cards?
Also, just noticed whilst channel hopping, the end credits of Big Brother were on and Channel 5 were promoting Comedy Central shows before its own. How long has that been going on?

Not long after Viacom took over. I've seen Comedy Central advertise Big Brother a lot.
C5 could benefit a lot from an injection of some of Comedy Central's content, and vice versa too actually. Wouldn't be a bad idea at all to rerun some of their recent UK commissions on C5.

MTV gets advertised a lot, if you watch Channel 5 when Milkshake finishes there's always a promo telling viewers to turn over to Nick Jr, that's been on since since the takeover by Viacom.
Makes it even odder when you see Comedy Central promos airing on Sky channels also, but Nick and Comedy Central (last I checked) in the UK were 50% owned by Sky.

And remember that MTV is also repeating the previous day's Big Brother.

When they were first bought by Viacom it was revealed that MTV's original shows couldn't be repeated on C5 because of an agreement they've got with Sky, assume the same applies to Comedy Central.
Aside from Drunk History there really isn't anything worth repeating from the channel.
We know C5 is planning a push into comedy later in the year so that could change. Apart from BB which is their "event" show, they don't air any other reality AFAIK. I think essentially they want to be younger and compete more closely with Channel 4.
Broadcast is vague in saying the new look will be unveiled next week. Doesn't necessarily mean it will be going live, but might be worth checking out C5 at 9:15am tomorrow morning just in case...
I doubt there would be. I think they are unveiling their new look, as in they will be previewing it on Broadcast or announcing that it is coming, at some point this week. It might be another few weeks yet before it makes it on screen.
