I see Charlotte either reducing her role to move on to long features rather than daily news, or she becomes the dedicated anchor of the News at 1:30.
Charlotte IS going to return, there's no doubt about it; she's stated on GMB she would be back soon.
Charlotte didn't go outside the first few times.
As for Kate's popularity, I'm not sure about that one. On all of GMB's Facebook posts, complaints about Kate outweigh the compliments 4:1. Whilst I know that you're more likely to complain about something, Katie clearly isn't popular in general.
I look forward to Charlotte's return and hope that they bring it back to her doing more features. Even though it was for logistics at the start of the week, it was nice to have the entertainment section not presented by Ben & Susanna.
As for the shows outside I believe that the reason Charlotte was not outside on other shows was because they were her days off.
I preferred the simple approach with the high stools and round table, though they can't all fit of course.
The in-studio performance on Friday, with 'Fifth Harmony' was really well produced and looked great, although it did suffer quite a lot with the lack of any backing vocals, leaving the music to drown out the singers, to some extent, who were battling singing live with their dance routine already.
In the occasions that there is a in-studio performance, does the auto cue show the lyrics?
Cant't speak for GMB, but on most studio shows with music performances you'd only scroll the lyrics on prompt if requested, and in some cases you'd rig an off-camera prompt screen to avoid the performers looking directly to camera.
