I'd be more picky about the distortion of the BBC blocks in the film opener!

Sadly, the BBC Films logo has never been right - or, to be more precise, the BBC logo element within it is wrong.

I thought the most blatant issue is that it's looks squashed. The one on Wikipedia isn't.

Well, yes. I was just pointing out the other issue with it. The logo on Wikipedia has been updated since then. Look at the file history and you'll see the old versions with the wrong weight and incorrect alignment: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:BBC.svg
