No voice of God for sunrise either - anyone else going to miss that after so many years?
Pretty simple start after the headlines wipe to just the sky news logo on the white background then a blue strap saying sunrise drops down before sliding down to where the strap usually is, stays on for a few seconds before sliding off under the ticker. Looks quite nice how it becomes part of the graphics.
Can you spot the small error in 1 of those pics? The skynews.com wants moving down a pixel too

It might not have the fanfare that Sky News had a decade ago, but neither did the look that ended a couple of days ago which IMO was a right ugly mess and looking very dated.
While this isn't "wow" I do think it's a nice refresh overall and it's actually refreshing for Sky to go for a real back to basics approach. Not really sold on the astons although they are definately an improvement, but the title card works well enough IMO and it seems to give the flexibility to add programme names etc.
I suspect in a few months that Top of the Hour sequence will be updated to something a little more interesting. It is a pity the music wasn't updated for the new look, but the new on-screen graphics for the most part are great.
Agree about the ticker and how it should all change colour.
Overall I like the simplicity of the graphics and I think that they animate very well. I would have liked to have seen the diagonal line of the election graphics brought into the standard ones.
The straps remind of the 2001 set of graphics.
I think I preferred the election graphics to the standard, but I suppose they had more information to deliver and did so splendidly.
As for the top of the hour, yes it's simple but at least it's not a clock with a shot of the studio with no build up at all.
Okay, watched it for half an hour properly for the first time, and I really love the graphics overall. I don't like the way things like the ticker and live/location graphic extend off the screen (it looks bad on the BBC, too) but overall it really is a well thought out, well done refresh.
I really like the simplicity of the new look, especially the paired back TOTH. The way the sliding title card element goes straight to a mcu of the presenter seems a bit off though, if a studio shot and v/o is too 00's for them they could at least frame it a bit wider.
