I wonder if they will play the songs in full, probably not seeing as it's a 30 min show. Also, what if they had to talk about a song that wasn't suitable for kids?

Probably what they did back in the original CBBC Top 40 days (2002-5) - either play a short clip that won't offend or reference they're unable to play it and move on.

The Call On Me video was a bit controversial back in the day and once week they showed the number 2 instead, but eventually they managed to knock up an edit full of the same few wide shots repeated over and over again, rather than closeups of crotches etc...

That promo could have been quite decent but the miming's really bad.

Episode 1 wasn't even in the Top 10 most watched CBBC shows that week.

However, neither was the last series in the top 10.

I think that was the problem , hence the rebrand.
