No obvious first pick then for the semi finals - I guess with them not being played till mid-April they could wait for the replays before confirming. I would hope if Bradford beat Reading that their clash with Arsenal finally gives them a BBC outing - surely preferential to showing Villa yet again.
The Key replay is Blackburn v Liverpool, if Blackburn win that then imo Bradford/Reading v Arsenal is the definite BBC tie. If not the attraction of an all FAPL semi would be too great to miss for the BBC, esp. if Gerrard is back playing regularly by the end of this month. Quite pleased that Liverpool and Arsenal have been kept apart, makes for a great potential final.
There's a huge disparity between the replay dates: Reading Bradford is being replayed next Monday (48 hours after they each have league games), while Liverpool and Blackburn must wait until 7 April due to Premier League TV matches being already organised, Champions League matchdays and the upcoming international break.
Not too surprising as it's been reported they alternate the 3rd picks of the main round and 1st pick of the replays, so I'm guessing BT had first pick of the replays this time around.
Tonight, ITV is showing Real Madrid vs. Schalke. Roy Keane is again an pundit, so is he a freelance or is ITV allowing him to do any punditry on the basis ITV is losing football coverage next season.

Roy Keane has made three appearances on TV this season, two on ITV and one on the BBC. He's not a full-time pundit and therefore works for who he likes, when he likes, as long as it doesn't clash with his actual paid job with Ireland.

you've stated this forcefully 3 times now on different forums...but it doesn't change the fact that he's well associated with ITV as a regular pundit. i'm not surprised people were surprised. It would be like Gary Neville showing up on ITV.
Not really - Keane stepped away from punditary and only made his return recently on ITV - and with them losing the Champions League/Europa League and axing presenters and pundits it's not like they're going to be signing up people on exclusive contracts now.
Indeed with the exception of Sky and a few individuals sports presenters and pundits exclusive to one channel is becoming a rarer thing - of the studio team on MOTD last night Lineker, Keane and Ian Wright all have regular roles elsewhere.
