So it looks out of the original five presenters from March 2014, only Claudia Liza-Armah and Gavin Ramjaun remain.

Hooray! Credit where it's due though, she's done very well to remain the main presenter of two of LL's flagship live shows for all this time in spite of her lack of talent.

Have there been any promos for the new look London Live News from Monday?

I noticed on their website that the lunchtime edition is now split into 2 separate one hour editions for some reason.

Cannot quite believe my eyes but the London Live homepage is comemorating Louise's departure with a "How well do you know Louise Scodie" quiz. I scored zero out of five and they've offered to post that on my Facebook wall. Try it for yourself.

At least they are not offering another chance to go on a date with her

I did the test - seems like I didn't know her at all. I had no idea she has her hair blow-dried twice a week. Wow! Or that she loves a cup of tea. Amazing!! A fascinating insight into a much misunderstood talent.

2/5!

Hopefully this is the end of the nonsensical quizzes.

I had to google to find out which one she was and god, she looks like a complete bitch in pretty much every promo shot. Hardly a friendly face people are going to tune into in the evening.

Remains to be seen whether the rebranded "London Live News" will actually be an improvement - I'm thinking probably not.

I remember in the last days of Manchester's Channel M they started rearranging news output. The Breakfast show was axed and I seem to remember news ended up being screened just twice a day, with a number of presenters disappearing.

Shortly after, Channel M closed.

The changes to news output were tantamount to the proverbial rearrangement of deckchairs on a sinking ship.

Now clearly it remains to be seen exactly what London Live's news output will become and, sure, there's a chance this might be a massive improvement. But at the moment this seems a very similar exercise to the one they did at Channel M back in the day...

Thanks for posting, I found it interesting to see your comparisons with Channel M. Welcome to the forum btw!

You could be right but for Channel M it was very much a last throw of the dice. They had been trying hard to make it a success for at least 8 or 9 years at that stage. I'm presuming that London Live has the backing to continue for a while yet (I could be wrong of course)
