Great to see Scodie away from that bloody table and being a general presenter instead of trying to be something she wasn't.

Also.... have they actually solved the floating head problem? There seems to be additional lighting in the background/the studio feels brighter.

What I liked tonight during the 6pm news that as the cameras had a much closer shot, the darkness from the windows didn't seem so bad in comparison to last weeks NTOS.

Now if they can add new titles for Wake Up London and Headline London please.

Agreed, they should shift it more towards the edge (and some transparency..)

Have they lost the filmic effect or altered it in some way? The output feels different. Or have I just got used to it?

Someone posted in another thread that they might be filming @ 720p 50fps, double the rate which gives it a more fluid feel from the DSLR cameras.

They just showed a clip from tomorrow's Headline Interview and that had the 'old' look.

It looks so much better now.

As others had said, it's a pity they didn't launch with this schedule and format.

Their original 'two fingers to serious local news, we're too cool for that' attitude was frankly offensive.

Now all they need to do is fix the odd scheduling of Headline London and the Headline Interview.

News gathering still appears to be an issue for London Live. Both ITV News London and BBC London had the story about the new London Underground uniforms on their 6pm bulletins this evening, where as I imagine it'll feature on London Live during Wake Up London.

The piece from Wimbledon this evening appeared to have been filmed on Friday when the weather was mild.

The mismatch between the logo in the titles and on the screen is a bit jarring from a pres fan's POV.
