The way Jeremy Vine seems to say "Bridish" rather than "British" is quite annoying me. It feels like that deliberate way of speaking that politicians do to make them seem less posh.
BBC - Hugh 'Dimbleby' stuck behind a desk and all very dry, if slick.
Sky - Everywhere and interesting, but a little messy.
ITV/STV - truly awful from every measurable perspective
You've missed off BBC One Scotland - which is on BBC Parliament (as well as BBC One Scotland SD/HD on DSat in the Rest of the UK)
The one thing that has always irritated me with Huw Edwards is his inability to actually look at the audience he's speaking to for more than 2 seconds. He takes his eye off the camera constantly and is looking in every direction and he makes it very obvious he's doing so. On the standard BBC News bulletins it's tolerable, but on something like this where i imagine he's having a lot of information fed his way, it's very distracting. Like i say i know he has a lot of information to look at, but Dimbleby and others manage to do the same job without it being obvious to me.

Damn! Thanks - been looking for this - was that the shot of their studio on here earlier - looks good.
Might bring some variety to proceedings...
Sarah Smith's last few months on 'Scotland 2014' (a nightly Newsnight style show on BBC TWO Scotland) has clearly put her in great stead to give excellent insights and analysis for the network programme. I hope she is kept on in some form at BBC Scotland.
