A very BBC look to the STV debate - the podiums used are very similar to the ones used for previous BBC debates and having just an LED screen behind them is like the BBC election debate and the recent Euro debate. Unfortunate that ITV didn't take it - odd to hear so much about a debate many didn't get the chance to see!

That seems a bit of a stupid decision on STV's part. Fair game to offer it to ITV but it doesn't make much commercial sense for them to show it, especially at two hours long and on their weakest night of the week ratings wise anyway.
I would have thought it being on their weakest night of the week would have been reason enough to take it. Couldn't have done that much worse than their line up last night.

Is it just me or is the picture quality of the debate that's being shown on BBC Parliament is somewhat lack luster? It's been quite pixalated at times at my end...
