I assume BBC World News are still simulcasting with the NC? References to the BBC News at 9 have been dropped, ranging from the 9 not appearing in the titles to generic references to 'the BBC News'.
Also, I don't know if it was just slightly dodgy VR, but the presenter, when stood up, did have a reflection in the floor - not sure how they managed it.

Still simulcasting with World (hence no time references, though Chris Rogers kept saying good evening earlier) - I'm surprised they've not got a World presenter alongside Martine, unless there isn't enough space in studio A. In which case, you wonder why they are not in the World studio..
I'm pretty sure given the enormity of both stories this evening that the Ten will be shown on World.
Perhaps the first 10 to 15 mins of it might be, but I doubt the UK heatwave (which has been totally ignored, with not even a short forecast all evening ?) and the cabinet reshuffle are of no interest internationally.

When the Royal Baby was born last year, WN took the Ten, but had Martine Croxall in Studio C to opt-out of the UK headlines and do World News stories when applicable, so we could see that again.
It's nice to see on BBC that the program currently on the 9 o'clock hour, it is produced by BBC News and the World are simulcasting, but domestic are still able to put a 'local time' on their LIVE bugs

Eh? Local time is still relevant to World viewers, not just UK viewers. It's most likely on World too.
BBC News and BBC World News have separate programs for the first time since 17:30 (UKT) Both World News America and the News at Ten leading on the airline story.
