Sweeney's move from London to Atlanta was a mistake. She thought it would increase her 'anchor' possibilities and it hasn't.
Have not seen this thread for a few weeks now so forgive me joining the party late on.
So it's fair to say any new CNNI schedule denies Fionnuala Sweeney a regular slot yet again.
While I like the idea of anchors moving around - she remains underused

I am not too sure - IMO she certainly seems much happier in Atlanta than London and who knows CNNI may have asked her to relocate? She always seems in peak form on location and I always get the sense she enjoys the variety. However, as a viewer I hope she gets a regular slot as she is a good presenter.

They announced a completely new website with that red tile logo last fall, and it was supposed to debut late last year. Then it was delayed to early this year, and then delayed again. Part of the original announcement was that the TV network(s) would get new on-air graphics to match the website, so presumably they'll debut new on-air graphics at the same time the new website launches.
CNNArabic.com already got the new design though, oddly enough.
They've been airing the "Go There" adverts for quite a while now, same for the apps advert, hopefully they will refresh their graphics soon.

The original release said that it would be available to the public in November (last year, that is), but then it was pushed back to early 2014. I don't think I've read anything since then that has given a definitive date. It must be a big project, because it's costing $15 million and they're also rebuilding the backend content management system. The iOS apps have the new design though as well.

lol Sure, the reporter is the one looking tacky.
The changes at CNNI are still far from over this year. Atlanta is to take over most of Hong Kong's hours so there will be much more work for Finn and others there and possibly she could get a fixed slot then.
As for her move to Atlanta, imo it was a good move, not only cause she looks absolutely radiant and happy (unlike her moody London days) but also cause she is the main fill in anchor and even without a fixed slot she gets the chance to anchor a lot, both weekdays and weekends. Her last year in London, after the revamp of European prime time schedule, she was limited to a 30 minute news bulletin with no space for interviews or anything else.
