Looks lovely. Can't even compare it to the tacky previous Daybreak set.

Looks like what Daybreak v1 should have gone with instead. Not too keen on the soft area though.

We haven't even seen it really? They need somewhere to interview guests as it wouldn't work with them on the end of the desk

- St Paul's in the background (where have we heard that before)

I suppose you learn from your mistakes. The daybreak skyline view just done on screens may have worked, but they took a risk which didn't pay off.

I look forward to seeing more of the other areas of the set.

Video is on there showing you the new studio! 😊😊😊

Sort of has a CBS This Morning Desk with a GMA backdrop of the Southbank with the Today Show panels at the side.

and seeing as i'm rhyming off elements it's also got CNN New Day's chairs Smile

They really have done their research

They look like the Loose Women chairs too me. Nice set though, looks a lot more modern, fresh and "of the times" than the previous 1980 Daybreak studio.

Wow - what a set!

Absolutely love it. It's not ITV News style, but it's just as good as it, especially for Breakfast TV. It's warm and homely. Neutral colour scheme and you can tell by just watching that, that it will be intimate and enjoyable. American, but very British too. Lovely backdrop as well. Reminds me of many eras of ITV Breakfast. I couldn't be happier.

Do you think you will be watching then, or does the content have to drag you in too before you turn to BBC?

Looks like Lorraine has a new shot, so I think we can expect a new studio for her on Monday possibly.

Sorry to keep pestering the forum - but anyway of someone getting this new video onto you tube so I can view it outside of the UK. Would really appreciate it

Its already been confirmed that there will be a new studio for lorraine!

Also, I really like the new set, looks really inviting and great! I love the look of the desk too with the round top that will work well for close ups but with a flat/ square front that will be good for wider shots! Really well designed, and the way the adverts been done feels very american! All looking really good, and Im so pleased they've left these elements of the launch quiet until now! I hope this works for ITV, because it feels like it really could!

That is a very nice set. Very homely feel to it. It has an American look to it. BIG improvement from the last set.
