Good Morning Britain - confirmed

"So watch this fantastic new breakfast show, and... oh damn, this is actually kind of awkward, so... umm... been anywhere nice on your holidays?"

Kate has tweeted "hope so" in response to someone commenting on her being on the new show.

I've noticed on the likes of Today that they have local tickers during the broadcast.

Eg NBC 4 NY would have a ticker giving the local headlines, sport and weather.

But would something like this work on a show like GMB?

Have you replied "hope not". I hope her involvement remains limited to standing in for Lorraine.

And probably the last time we see any charisma between Charlotte and another presenter as we soon discover none of them have any between them.

Not sure why so many people are negative towards Kate - always found her to be a versatile, capable presenter myself. I do agree though that she will more than likely be just a stand-in for Lorraine (which is a good thing) and maybe they'll use her on GMB in the same way they do with Helen Fospero on Daybreak.

She's great on Smooth Radio, very warm and friendly. However I've never warmed to her on television.

What's the betting they'll use the line "Good morning" at every opportunity.

In the supposed regional opts, "now let's say Good Morning to Amanda Piper for the latest news in Meridian."

"Now let's say Good Morning to Laura Tobin with your weather."

"Now let's say Good morning to Andi Peters whose in a village in the middle of know where with this weeks competition..."

They'll probably avoid it to be honest as much as possible.

I'm not sure about that, but I think they may start the hour with "Good Morning Britain, your headlines on the 28th April..."

Interesting tweet from Erron. I think the intro will be done by Sitting Duck Music again, he also included a load of other people related to Good Morning Britain.
