Apparently some Red Dwarf fans have been complaining that the show hasn't been included in the birthday celebrations (based on its omission in a Telegraph article it seems) to the point of accusing the BBC of re-editing All About Two to include it. Rolling Eyes It seems there might be some truth in them omitting it from the website however, which has since been rectified.

I was surprised the only reference to Spike Milligan's 'Q' was a 5 second clip, his programmes spanned the anarchic gap between Monty Python (a BBC 1 show) and the alternative comedy of the 80s, The Young Ones and 'Red Dwarf' notably.

Also, were Absolutely Fabulous and Who Do You Think You Are both originally BBC 2 shows ?

Either the twitter people are blind or the bbc took the pic back off. The pic was from the first series.

I've looked into it a bit further. Apparently it was missing from this list when it was first published.

Robert Llewellyn blogged about it and Danny John-Jules (on twitter) attacked the BBC over it, it was reported on Digital Spy, and there was a petition too.

So the BBC 2 50th idents - have they been used in full before? Just saw a longer cut of the cake one being used as a proper ident rather than a sting before one and don't think I've seen that yet.

They've been using full versions as proper idents on a regular basis for a few days now, since last weekend.
