ITV and the FA, in their combined infinite wisdoms, scheduled their FA Cup Semi Final for 5pm. ITV then scheduled Britain's Got Talent to air less than 30 minutes after the scheduled end of a knockout match which, as it has transpired, has gone to ET and (as I type) looks like Pens.
A quick search of the #bgt hashtag on Twitter will fill you with endless enjoyment as Cowell fans up and down the country take to their iPhones to complain.
As the game went into the second half of extra time Chiles said something along the lines "if you've tuned in for the new series of Britain's Got Talent, it's your lucky day" in a sarcastic manner. Really don't know what people have against him.

He's not a bad football presenter he's grown into that role now, not in the Gary Lineker or Richard Key's league of presenting but he's ok, I guess some people dont like him from his Daybreak days.

People also think he went from The One Show to Daybreak to the football, as if it was just something ITV gave him to do and he has no interest in football.
The years he spent on MOTD2 go ignored because the mainstream viewers never saw it.
I've not been watching the whole marathon, but rather just turned on BBC One a few minutes ago. A combination of course-record beating time, sunny day, good directing, and good flying gave us a stunning helicopter shot of the men's race leader heading through Parliament Square as Big Ben struck 12. Worth watching back.
Although anyone would think only one person is running.
Does the marathon usually have sponsor hoardings around the course (other than the main sponsor) - noticed them today and can't say I remember seeing them in the past.
As I'm a V8 Supercars fan, worth mentioning that this year, Motors TV are showing same day action, with BT Sport showing highlights the following Wednesday in their Motorsport news show. This means that Premier Sports have lost all rights to the series, and indeed Sky have dropped coverage after one year.
