The first report does have a 'Community Channel 360' feel to it.
LL's programme director, Jane Mote used to be in charge of The Community Channel. Oddly enough, before that she was at the BBC and one of the things she launched there was a radio station called London Live!
Taped the launch and watching it back now and the host of London Go is very decent, able to ramble about sod all without being annoying. The links to the Noah premiere were a bit of a disaster though.
I wish she could have had a bit of portable set/a tall desk or something. The whole show feels like she's about to link back to a studio.
Good acquisitions as already pointed out. Just watched a bit of the standup gig programme that is an original commission with Alex Zane - very watchable too.
The board showing the night's schedule is very Channel 4-esque don't you think?
Incidently...the name London Live...was not the BBC Local Radio station in London known by that name for a short period and wasn't it at one stage the working title for what became BBC London News? I wonder what the BBC made of them effectively recycling that brand.

It is a tarnished brand for the BBC - London Live was a bit of a disaster and the radio station took a while to shake off the bad reputation it gained in its short life.
As i mentioned above, the person at the BBC responsible for the launch of their London Live is the programme director of this London Live... Although i suspect thats mostly a coincidence
