Ugh, mods, why do you keep merging and closing threads? It only serves to damage discussions which are in mid flow!
It didn't require a new thread - the previous one entitled Bid Shopping would include 'Shop at Bid'
What a daft post...... Bid is a COMPLETELY Different channel now, there no bidding its just like QVC, your just trolling...
Trolling? Oh like last week when I told said the channel was going fixed price and like last night when I posted way before 10pm exactly what was changing.
The original thread was called 'bid Shopping' - 'shop at bid' is part of the bid shopping company, it isn't 'completely' different as that would have meant new studio, set, presenters, product range... i.e. a COMPLETE new channel, when was the last time you actually placed a 'bid' on bid tv?

What your asking me is not the issues, What happened last night was a revamp, it got new graphic, it lost all of its auction functions.
Even as I right this reply: this message is appearing

I created the new thread. I sent the RTP to say that the thread needed merging into the original one or the Shop at Bid stuff into the new thread. One way or the other something needed to be merged, and it's been done in a way that's not really disrupted the flow (thanks partly due to the timing of the posts).
Seems that Price Drop are cutting their broadcast hours. From tomorrow, they are showing "Best of Bid" from 18:00 until closedown at 01:30. I imagine this will be recorded hours from [Shop at] Bid.
I didn't know Bid Shopping has a Vimeo channel. Turns out that they do.
Happier times...
Looks like they were playing with the idea of using items numbers (and probably fixed prices) for some time...
Fun with Sally Jacks...
And Jenny Top...

In other news, Lisa Brash is not on Price Drop tonight. With Price Drop's new reduced hours meaning her shifts will no longer exist, have we already seen her last show?
Peter Simon's first show under the new format has so far had an uneventful 9 minutes on air.

The schedule on the website under the live streams says Steve MacDonald is on Price-Drop from 7pm tonight.
Now that was unexpected. It's actually "a brand new channel" and not just clips as I was expecting. I think they could have called it something better than Best of Bid though.
