Subtle advertising for good morning Britain during Saturday night take away, the question was 'what new breakfast programme is susannah Reid to present' in one of the questions, coincidence or am I just over thinking it.

No definitely purposeful!

coincidence or am I just over thinking it.

Considering it hasn't been written at random it's not a coincidence. It may have been done as a little plug or the question writers have done it on the basis it's just as relevant to the show and the week as any of the other questions. Either way it's not that interesting.

Pretty much everything on Takeaway is a plug for an ITV show.

It might be looking a bit more positive that Kate is still staying on the new show. She's recently retweeted questions asking if she will be on the new show, however hasn't given an answer to the questions. I'd imagine if she was definitely leaving she would have said so by now.

Why on earth would ITV keep her - she's not someone people want to watch in the mornings.

I suspect at best she'll continue as cover for Lorraine and possibly on Weekend.

Someone asked if she would be staying and said "Hope so"

As much as you may not like her, I'm sure many who watch Daybreak now do. If I were Good Morning Britain, I'd want to keep some continuity in an attempt to keep the viewers who are watching now.

The thing is there aren't many watching Daybreak - some people here can't seem to grasp that.

Surely she must be pretty good / popular if she has been presenting mornings on ITV for just under 14 years...
