I've got a lot of respect for Graham Norton because he knows when not to speak and let the EBU feed do the talking. My view is - during the French sections it's fine, but English sections should not be talked over.
There are points where the BBC have to speak over the host broadcasters, even when they are speaking in English.
This is because the BBC doesn't allow the same voting methods (Eurovision app and SMS voting) that are available in the rest of Europe (and I suspect the BBC is right not to...) The BBC also have to mask some of the host broadcaster graphics for the same reason.
