Does this mean regional forecasts with a presenter have returned to Lunchtime instead of Evening & Late as the change last year?

To add to the regional map, in Hull there was a conventional close with Paul Hudson handing back to the presenter who said goodnight, followed by the theme tune and copyright date, as usual.
Looks like it was done in the SW. I didn't see Look North Hull - wonder how it was handled there with a pre-record of Hudson.

That doesn't work very well - would be better if summary was on screen with Hudson. Even better would be a conventional close!

We shall miss peter cockroft. He is the only forecaster (along with Carol) who speaks in normal (for English) tempo which gives the listener time to absorb what is being said. Can't BBC give him a good payrise and get rid of most of the othersd!

Have no caps of it but what is going on next to the BBC Weather screen on the balcony? The wall looks like it has been stripped back or reinstalled and when I caught a glimpse a couple of days ago there were wires hanging through it where the BBC WEATHER logo used to be. They haven't shown the wall since.
