I see there have that stuck up cow on Ch5 Benefit programme. Does this count towards its PBS?

They already fulfil their current affairs quota each year via The Wright Stuff (no really) so this is in addition to that.

I suggest you treat this like an episode of Brass Eye and enjoy it as such. Katie Hopkins is dreadful but she is at least hilarious to watch, as are the mortified reactions from everyone around her.

I wonder where this is being filmed and who's making it. I was half expecting it to come from The Wright Stuff studio but wherever this is looks rather cheap.

For those who remember, this programme reminds me a bit of central weekend.

Although parts of it are breaking into anarchy.

I hope they commission this into a full series of some kind.

I agree. Looking at social media it's got people taking and debating meaning that people are watching channel 5.

I think that might have been the greatest hour of television of all time.

The audience turning again Katie Hopkins, random z list celebrities in the audience for no apparent reason, some blogger swearing angrily at Edwina Currie, a woman demanding a job from Currie and saying "innit" numerous times, a portion of the audience starting to chant, yes chant, in support of working mothers, Matthew Wright's presenting skills falling apart and the audience generally speaking when they shouldn't have been.

Excellent television.

Yes, a real highlight. I expect we will be seeing clips of this programme for years to come.

As are a lot of people who have worked on other television programmes, I'd imagine.

10 hours of current affairs each year needs to be aired at "peak viewing times". I guess last night met 10% of the quota for 2014

It also states that those hours need to be of "high quality" therefore excluding it from the quota.

Oh who are we kidding, Ofcom won't care.

C5+24 has its own presentation and continuity. I think this is because there will be some deviation from what C5 broadcast 24 hours earlier on occasions when they only have the rights to show certain documentaries and films once.
