Not really got much to say about the news this year - it's all a bit run of the mill at the moment, especially in the 24 hour news market, while I don't think any of the main news bulletins are doing anything special either.

Therefore this will be brief:

Rising Star | Lewis Vaughan Jones
Best Domestic Presenter | Julie Etchingham
Over the Top| Nelson Mandela not actually dying
Who we need to see more of? | Charlie Stayt - I reckon he'll end up back at ITN with ITV News eventually - would fit in more there than on the main BBC1 bulletins
Most missed, but not necessarily deceased | Kirsty Young
Overrated | Jeremy Paxman
Underrated | Krishnan Guru Murphy

What is the deal with "TV Forumer of the Year" award?

I'm pretty sure it's a category that's been featured in previous years. I believe it's also a tradition to leave out ones if you find the category, or its name, annoying.

EDIT: Having done the research, JamesWorldNews introduced the category in 2010.

What is it awarded for? Is it the BEST member? or Best person that done something?

Best News Program - The Brief with Jim Clancy

Best News Channel - Sky News

Best News Presenter - Mark Austin

Best Regional Presenter - Paul Clark

Best Regional Programme - North West Tonight

Best Weather Presenter - Naz Gaffar

Most Improved Presenter in 2013 - Kay Burley

Hard as Nails - Jon Snow for his interview with Sir Alex Ferguson

Over the Top - Huw Edwards

Biggest Disappointment - The BBC NBH relaunch, much rather the studios and presentation in TVC

Best Theme Music - CNN

Best General Pres. (Graphics / Astons / Etc.) - Sky News

Sorely Missed (but not necessarily deceased!) - Paul Mason leaving Newsnight and Bill Neely leaving ITV

Overall Top of the Pops - Jeremy Thompson

Best New Kid on the Block - Not really a new kid but Mark Stone's coverage from Beijing has been incredible with astounding reports breaking new ground in the country

News Story of the Year - The Boston Bombings and ensuing manhunt, Margaret Thatcher death, Lance Armstrong scandal, New Pope, The Kenyan Shopping Mall bombings, US Government Shutdown, Spanish Train Crash, Prince George's Birth and Nelson Mandela funeral...and IMO its been a slow news year!

Outstanding Contribution to TV News for the Year or Special Mention - Bill Neely for what has been another incredible year for him leading the way in the field of foreign reporting and capping off a remarkable career with ITN...and also for completing the London Marathon a week after returning home from Boston following his coverage of the Boston Bombings.

2014 Emerging Talent: One to Watch - Emily Maitlis...Paxman she's coming after your job!

Scoop of the Year - Not so much of a scoop but Alex Thomson's exclusive coverage of the Central African Public Crisis was gripping and worthy of more attention which sadly is lacking in African countries amongst foreign media.

Looking forward to - European Elections and the Scottish Referendum. Hopefully a news year akin to 2011 would be excellent from a news junkie's perspective.

Happy Christmas
