I notice Channel 5 seems to be airing a lot of Irish imports of late, including an RTE drama Love/Hate and TV3's Animal A&E and I remember seeing a documentary about travelors in the schedules that was set in Ireland recently.

Can't be a coincidence that Ben Frow formerlly of TV3 is now director of programmes. Makes sense really, because some of these shows could have easily been commissioned in Britain, whilst these wont seem foreign to the audience.

They can barely fill 5* and 5USA with any quality shows. I daren't think what this will consist of.

Well presumably stuff that's very recently aired on Channel 5, like 4Seven, given the similar sounding name.

Access Hollywood is scheduled to air on C5 before 10 tonight. Is this the norm, or just a one-off? & does a 5 News update still air in that slot?.

I think the only 5 News update now is just before 9pm, though perhaps they have an extra one in the middle of films if they're later - or something like Access Hollywood - though tonight's airing seems a bit random.

ITV2/3/4 have random showbiz news updates in the middle of films too so presumably this allows them to air extra ads by effectively airing the film as two parts - though that's a loophole OFCOM should close really.

Doesn't it (also?) allow them to report ratings separately for both halves of a film?

Decent enough from what I've seen so far. Shame they didn't let the team who created the package design the logo, which looks just as wonky on screen as anticipated (though aided by the removal of "Channel").

Ew, doesn't his face look creepy in that shot?

You quoted a post from two years to say that?

He is creepy.

Since when was that comment acceptable either on a public discussion forum or indeed life?
