BBC Two Rebrand and Onwards

the daily trails are made by the OB - perhaps they didn't have the font with them. (though it seems that the nations have time to rebrand them)

I didn't know which thread to post this in but this one seems as relevant as any other. May not be suitable for those with OCD.

Yikes! Can BBC ever get the BBC Two logo right? That is awful!

It's irrelevant really as the question was about colours.

If anything, that's a bigger issue. BBC Two has never been identified with sky blue.

How is it irrelevant? If its about the colours then they should get the colours right. The colour for BBC Two is completely wrong.

I thought the point was more about the fonts.

But they're supposed to be representations of the current logos. The colour should have been more accurate given the question; the font used is irrelevant though.

You would think that a programme as well researched as Only Connect would be more accurate on this matter - use of an eyedropper tool and a bit of research isn't too much to expect, is it?

Hmm... That's a bit dodgy for a clue where the colour is vital.

Aye - very much what I was thinking... Not sure why they would seemingly pick the colour from memory, rather than actually pulling up the logo and sampling the value. Careless to have let it through.

Inspector, I am not sure BBC Two has actually ever officially used cyan for the logo at all, only as part of the endboard palette which uses a range of colours. The logo proper - as seen on the symbols - remains the same deep shade of aqua it has been since the full rebrand in 2007...
