I'm hoping they'll have an interview in the studio this evening. They didn't do one today which is strange as lunchtime normally pads out with one.
I think it's safe to say Sara Orchard won't need her silly stool to present Sport on Friday's from now on.

A big improvement. Also noticed they've now added the email address to the lower thirds and a weather preview with Wendy Hurrell from her desk in the newsroom.

Hmm, they still haven't sorted out quite a few kinks with the VR, though. There's no depth of field, so it looks quite fake, and at the beginning they made it really obvious that it's all VR when they showed a full body shot of the presenter and everything else reflected apart from her. If they can reflect her in the desk why can't they reflect her in the floor?

Because the desk is actually reflecting the presenter, and the floor isn't. Only the background needs to be flipped in the desk reflection.
