I see Final Score this Sunday has been extended by an extra hour, originally scheduled for 3.45-5.30 it will now finish at 6.30, despite just one 4.00 kick off - Man Utd v Swansea. There are five 3pm kick offs and one 1.30 kick off. I guess they want to stay on air for Man Utd lifting the trophy and the Alex Ferguson goodbyes.
The following week the programme airs from 4.05 to 6.30, with all ten Premier League matches kicking off at 4pm.
The BBC will show the Eastbourne Tennis International this year, following a number of years away. Previously a WTA event, its now an ATP tournament as well and will be a handy filler in a week that would previously have featured Royal Ascot. Extensive coverage as well - much more than the BBC ever did with the ladies' tournament.

As it's now a combined ATP/WTA event, Eurosport might only have WTA rights, with ATP being on Sky Sports (like Madrid this week). Not sure if this allows either broadcaster to show the same match as the BBC.
French Open coverage on ITV getting a better deal with highlights this year, being on ITV1 this time and starting before midnight. Live coverage of course on ITV4 most days with ITV1 coverage at weekends. Yes I know it's ITV not ITV1 anymore but I've used ITV1 for clarity.

That makes perfect sense - it's about the only thing related to football they can show live nowadays.

I wonder if they'll get the Davies Cup rights back too - the last one was only on the LTA website.
Also notice that ITV will have live coverage on the main channel of the French Open on the opening Sunday and Monday, though on weekdays it remains on ITV4 only. ITV1 also airing nightly highlights either at around 10.35pm or an hour later - far better than last year when they were on ITV4 around 1-2am in the mornings.
ITV will exclusively show live coverage of all England’s international football matches at home and abroad for the Euro 2016 and 2018 World Cup qualifying competitions.
The agreement continues and expands the channel’s commitment to showing live, free-to-air coverage of the England football team. It is the first time in recent years a single broadcaster will show all of England's qualifying games for consecutive major tournaments. ITV has held the rights to show exclusively all England’s home games since 2008 as well as, since 2009, the team's friendly matches both at home and away.
Today’s deal also includes the rights to broadcast 20 non-home nation qualifying games for ITV4.
From Owen Gibson- Guardian's Chief Sports correspondent
Quote:
ITV has won the rights to all of England's qualifiers, home and away, for the 2016 Euros and the 2018 World Cup.
Few more details:
Sky have Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland live. If England play one of those away they'll share live coverage with ITV. They'll also have highlights of England games.
ITV get 20 'non home nations' qualifiers for ITV 4, Sky Sports have all the rest.
Playoffs exclusive to Sky- although I presume any England playoff would be on ITV, with shared coverage of the away leg if it were against another home nation.
Sky also get Euro 2013 - the U21 tournament - exclusively live.

It seems that, as well as being reduced to showing highlights of the last two rounds, the BBC will not show any coverage of the opening two rounds of next weekend's PGA Championship Golf at Wentworth. In the previous deal, the Beeb had first and second round highlights, then live coverage of the third and fourth rounds shared with Sky.
This year's offering will be an hour of highlights from the third and fourth rounds on BBC Two at 6pm on the Saturday and Sunday. You would wonder if there's any point in bothering at all, but at least the highlights aren't tucked away in a late-night slot.
Incidentally, on both the Saturday and Sunday, the golf highlights clash directly with the Monaco Grand Prix highlights on BBC One.
When you think that 20 years ago, the BBC would have been showing the golf, the Grand Prix and the Test match all live across the weekend. How times change . . .
Pretty much the status quo then for international football except Sky/ITV4 now get all the non-UK games. It seems ITV4 get first pick of those except the final two games in the qualifying rounds so this year for example could have had both legs of the Spain v France games. It would be interesting to know what Sky is paying for these rights and how exactly they were put out to tender.
