Bid Plus seems to be on for more than two hours a day now too!

I wonder if the other channels are going to adopt the new call charge?

EDIT: They're on from 11am now daily!

I doubt it. It would mean changing numbers after so long.

No it wouldn't. That same number used to be £1 previously which shows that bid shopping themselves set the call charges. They could easily charge less that £1.50 if they wanted.

I don't know how the charges for the numbers are set, but I think it would mean reassigning the price for the whole of the 0904 251 set of numbers, which I don't think are all operated by sit-up.

That's not how it works. BT set the call charges.

Okay but I'm sure they could appeal to BT to lower the call charges. There is nothing to say 0904 251 2000 (and '0100') have to be fixed at £1.53.

They are set at the level of 0904 251, so it would depend if sit-up are the only users.

Far Mani is doing a live preview on bid plus right now called "what's on" he's giving you a tour of the website and showing you how you can get no delivery charge when you spend £50 or more.

It was the most useless waste of an hours airtime I've seen since the testcard went off air.

I'm not all that sure it was live either, maybe live yesterday but there was no LIVE bug.

Plus, this 'bid plus from 11am' doesn't seem to mean live, they are currently replaying one of yeseterdays live hours - so their live hours still remain a mystery - yesterday it seemed to be 3pm to 10pm.

It seems that there are currently technical problems on bid. After Peter Simon conveyed his messages of "No matter where you are tonight, or who you are: you might not know it, but somebody loves you." and "Sleep well", they cut to a still of Alan and Barry, and are now on a bid logo still with some of their most regal Audio Network music.

As I type this, they have cut to some infomercials with the wrong audio. Firstly, a Muzzy ad with Tranquillity images, and now JML Magic Bullet with some make-up product's pictures.

And as I typed that, they've now stuck with the JML Magic Bullet.

And now, they've cut back to the Alan and Barry still.

And back. What a rollercoaster.

EDIT: This Alan and Barry still keeps reappearing. We could be in for a night of nights.

What is this show about that's on now?

It appears to be a sitcom about a Mancunian in America with friends who are easy to impress, and one who is an alcoholic.

EDIT: Now bid is stuck on a shot of Steve Hyland vacuuming someone's head.
EDIT: Now, it's gone black.
EDIT: Now we've gone to Sheer Cover. I was right - this is going to be a night of nights. And now Leeza Gibbons is going on and off. I think there must be some sort of serious problem. I wonder if tomorrow morning will end up being a simulcast of price drop.

Sorry for the double post, but there's been another ASA ruling:

http://asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudications/2013/4/sit_up-Ltd/SHP_ADJ_220712.aspx - price drop, Upheld.

Just heard Andy Hodgson read a tweet from TV Forum's very own Bilky Asko. Something about hats and gladioli. What a small world.
