Hopefully someone will be able to provide a clip - the lighting appeared to dim too.
If that had something to do with the strike, it started a bit too early.
it appears they have already smashed something in E. Simon said 'it sounded expensive'

Apologies for poor quality!

So it wasn't just Aaron on World who had problems with the dancing cameras today then, Matt!
Whoops! The cameras decided to go on a little tour of the studio today...

Ever wonder where those claw robots from Red Dwarf (called Scutters) went to?
Now we know.

Do we think there's any particular reason they've moved into Studio C for the Five O'clock hour? The News at Six obviously isn't at Six today because it's Good Friday, so surely they could have stuck in Studio E?
Unless they're running The Film Review and want to keep its normal look from Studio C.

WEEEEEE! Ha! Obviously someone didn't direct clear enough, or didn't prep the shot in time. Assuming it should have cut to the other camera (that was a 2 shot), but instead remained on-air and was moving into position for another shot, and in panic, the 2-shot camera operator went for the wrong button, hence going to presenter 1 chair. Ah well! It's what makes live TV fun!

Err beware what you think is obvious.
There are no camera operators in that studio. All of the cameras are on Furio remote track and controlled by the director and the Mosart automation system (and there's no vision mixer/TD either - the vision mixer is Mosart controlled as well)... That's what makes this form of live TV even more fun.
If you're not careful you can let the automation system do things you weren't expecting. Particularly when you've only been on-air in that studio for a week or two.
