Once again the news is moved for the football, this is becoming a weekly thing now and even then it didn't start on time, Why do they say 10:10 when it isnt on until 10:15 or in tonights case 10:17?

Well they presumably meant to start at 10:10, but with live sport, things can run late. 7 mins is a lot though. Does anyone know how STV coped with the overrun, given that they weren't showing the match?

There's not a lot they can do when the match kicks off at 2000 or 2005 as with the World Cup Qualifiers, friendlies and Europa League matches (Champions League is 1945 which is why 2200 news is fine for those). The only way you could get to 2200 on time is to have pretty much no analysis off the back of the match which I think might equally infuriate viewers of the match.

Tyne Tees / Border have said Goodbye since the relaunch, why aren't other regions?! Natural way to end the show!

Tyne Tees seem to like to stick two fingers up at the rules - hence why the background lighting is blue, and not teal.

I thought all regions were blue? The granada set uses blue panels and calendar lighting is also blue

Wow! Apart from the Teal-ometer, those regionals sets are actually quite visually consistent. Almost to the point of being identical to the regular viewer.

Unlike BBC regions.

The sheer size of Studio E at Gas Street is indicated in that, it looks so roomy despite being split in two!

Bilky, I'd say that Central sort of exceed Teal and head to Turquoise...

ITV have a say over both the England and Europa League games kick off times unlike The Champions league. They show them as late as they can to get more advertising in. News of course plays second fiddle to advertising.

You are wrong, all Europa League kick off times are decided centrally and are always 18:00 and 20:05 in the UK, barring a handful of games in Russia.

And ITV don't have the final say on foreign England games - and given the various Wembley kick-off times over the last few years I don't think they hold much sway there either.

There was a reunion tonight of ITV morning news teams past and...past tonight. Nice to see Joyce Ohajah pop up on the right.
