I've found this channel on Youtube that has a load of stuff made for bid and price-drop. This channel has all of the 2011 bid and price-drop idents on there too:

Really? Odd that Price Drop aren't doing it too then. They have an offer where you get £10 credited to your account when you buy an item, that may be a better offer if you are a regular customer. I've been watching Bid on and off today, I assume we haven't seen any items going for a £1 or 1p today?
The second adjudication is the explanation as to why the P&P details and the call cost details have increased in size:
Quote:
Text size related to the vertical height of the text measured in terms of the number of TV lines it occupied. In the absence of an accepted standard for measuring character size on character generators, the ASA determined the preferred minimum heights for each format by the number of physical TV lines.
The preferred minimum text height for the
4:3
format was
14 lines
and
between 16 and 30 lines
for the
16:9
format. We sought advice from the Ofcom, who confirmed that the height of the postage and call costs in ads (a) and (b) were approximately eight lines and, having viewed the ad, considered that they were not clearly presented.
Been watching over the last few nights and they're actually mentioning the p&p now. Lisa Brash just mentioned the p&p on speed auction just now. Over on Bid Plus earlier they had no p&p on all items in that hour.
I just put bid on to see if JCM Direct had done anything about the ad I complained about (which was resolved informally), and there's just a bad loop of the bid background music, and a caption saying they're back at 7:45am. The same is true on price drop and speed auction, which has a bid plus caption. They're all playing the bid music, though.
Here are some caps:
Maybe they had to take the JCM ads off to have time to edit one of them. Or is there another reason? Mysterious...
Bid are currently selling a cruise on behalf of The Cruise Specialist. They are using Bid Plus style graphics and set, an 0845 number (which seems to be The Cruise Specialist's own number). It is presented by Mark Ryes with a guest from The Cruise Specialist. They are using the same music as you would normally hear on Bid and at least one track I have not heard before.
I don't know if it was live or recorded, but it certainly looks like it was made to be repeated. Towards the end of the presentation, Mark Ryes said "This is a commercial presentation by The Cruise Specialist". It was completely stand-alone, they did not hand back to the regular presenter (Charlotte Mounter) at the end, although she did reference the "lovely cruise".
