Looks like a waiting room - just in from the Newsroom!
Seeing it there with all the lights - much lighter than what it looked on screen. Looked far better than some regions efforts... Westcountry and Meridian had poor CGI's.

Awful, the worst temporary set of the lot. In front of a load of cupboards, in the dark.
Anyway, for one night only.

I thought the use of filing cabinets was clever - and it reminds me of this:

Interesting. No lick of paint but a new studio set.
@ITVBorder & @ITVTyneTees @ 10.30 pm on ITV. Tonight we are broadcasting from our newsroom while our new studio set is being built

I wonder how the new-look TT&B news will be branded.
Presumably "ITV News Tyne Tees & Border" for pan-regional short bulletins (by far the clunkiest of the new names), but what about the 6pm edition?
Will the whole 6pm edition also use the TT&B suffix, or will the sub-regional part still use separate names followed by the "nameless" pan-regional second-half, as currently?
Presumably Border-only bulletins will be "ITV News Border", so the traditional "Lookaround" brand must've already made it's final ever appearance in last night's late bulletin, after all these years and decades. There's an end of an era for you.
But will Tyne Tees-only bulletins be "ITV News Tyne Tees" or "ITV News North East", I wonder? If the former (which seems most likely), it will be nice to have the old company name back in the programme title, having been absent since the mid-1990s.

Has it actually been confirmed that the regional programmes will be referred to as 'ITV News [Region]' on screen, or is it speculation because of some Twitter accounts being renamed this way?
