From that angle it looks like the camera for weather looks right over the top of Lorraines desk. And the 'over to the weather camera?' Is perched right to the side of Laura. Looks like theres some tight angles there.

Just a small issue that bugs me, that I first noticed this morning. Not sure how long it has been going on for. During the weather, they've reverted to the old graphics but during the summary, they still have the new map with the UK in the brightest green possible. It looks pretty inconsistent already, they need to choose one or the other.

Could it be that the map which Laura stands in front of is fed into a large monitor with studio lights etc pointing at it and the other is a full frame graphic...?

They used a monitor on the old Daybreak and it didn't have the same effect. It looks like two completely different maps, and the bright green one was used at the relaunch. But then you know more about it than I do.

It's the same monitor but lighting conditions are very different between the daylight studio 7 and the tungsten lit studio 3. I see what you mean though, the summary is lime green.

I landed in Sydney Australia yesterday and straight away i can see where Daybreak got the inspiration for their new clock.
