Nice touch with the 80's =2= ident and a good long farewell announcement.

Indeed, great anno from Dean - and the re-use of the =2= design drawing a parallel with the BBC 2 NI analogue close. His final words into the pages - 'time to hit the road' - were apt, the following music being Great Ocean Road...

Well done on posting a good clear cap so swiftly, sda Wink

That's it folks, truly the end of an era (in-vision at least), but I suspect one that will live on in the archives, and doubtless be referenced for years to come. Cheers for the memories!

That's where Ben Mitchell went off to then! I always wondered...

EDIT: Looked at his over videos, appears to have a learning difficulty of some sort...

A nice set of announcements both in and out of Ceefax there, and certainly good to see they're getting their money's worth out of that early 80s recreation they put together. I've missed catching Pages From for years, but it's one of those things I just got used to always being 'somewhere in the schedules' and it's strange to think it'll never be there again.

It's almost becoming a sad given that the only time I'll fire up the capture card now is when something seems to be ending or airing for the final time. Embarassed But that aside, the final intro and outtro from Pages From Ceefax this morning.
