Yesterday, RTP Madeira has adopted the new (now year-old) RTP graphics for their news bulletins.
The graphics are the same as RTP Açores (save for the images from the Madeira islands, instead of those from the Azores), and the music comes from the special reports on RTP1 and RTP Informação (for their short bulletins) and from Bom Dia Portugal (for Telejornal Madeira ):

Staying in Portugal, here's a look at Jornal do Norte ("News from the North"), from Porto Canal, a cable/satellite channel dedicated to Northern Portugal and co-owned by FC Porto:

Here's a truly historic bit of television... the first hour of CNN, the world's first 24-hour news channel, from June 1, 1980.

The launch ceremony begins at around the 2:15 mark.

The first news broadcast begins around the 7:45 mark.

I think it sounds like the intro of "BBC Points West" from 2004.

BTW, some elements in this clip (such as the camerawork) remind me a bit of WDR's Aktuelle Stunde from a few pages back:

Great recycling of the BBC Three News set by Bristol. (Often mistakenly described as the Liquid News set)

Prva TV in Serbia has adopted graphics and formats that strongly resemble the ones used by RTL in Germany. YouTube commentators aren't sure if Prva TV bought the rights from RTL or if this is a case of blatant plagiarism.

Prva TV, Serbia, late news:

Ironically, RTL Televizija in neighboring Croatia, which of course is owned by the RTL Group, has a look that isn't that similar to its German counterpart (even though it shares its logo):

Interestingly enough, Prva TV's main evening news hasn't gone for the "RTL look" (even though the show that precedes it, Explosiv , certainly has):

What a shame! South Korea's (Yes, that's my country.) SBS copied BBC's non-English news intro for their segment in the news!

As some may recall, a while ago I mentioned that ARD Tagesschau will be getting a new set this December. This has been confirmed by local media over the last few weeks, with a launch date set for December 26 (the program's 60th birthday). It will be accompanied by a new theme penned by the film composer Hans Zimmer, though it is understood the famous "Ta-ta, ta ta ta taaa" will remain.

Norway's TV2 will be debuting a revamped bulletin this Monday, with a Lightwell-designed backdrop. The fate of their Lambie Nairn graphics is not known.

Edit - Here's the finished set, designed by BDA Creative.
