Just caught a new promo for BBC Three that looked quiet good.

It was basically Greg James, Ellie from 'Song, Marry, Avoid', Lee Nelson, Stacey Dooley (I think), Reggie Yeates and Russell Kane dancing in a lift. It was promoting upcoming summer shows.

You can see it here...

So since BBC Three is going be broadcasting for more of the day now, does this mean there will be more 60 Seconds bulletins?

It looks like the BBC3 Friday daytime schedule is just to make sure that everything is working in time for the first full day on the Saturday. According to Radio Times, BBC Parliament will be off air from Thursday, which means they have a day before the first daytime schedule to sort the switchover, then a day with a schedule no-one is really expecting full of repeats, all in time for Saturday's day 1 coverage.

Would love to see the video, thanks for sharing that pic also.

It was basically an anti-chat show wasn't it?

Pretty much, yep. You could never quite be sure if they'd bothered writing a script.

Anyway, here's the start (bar a couple of seconds) of the East Midlands edition and I'll remember to see if there was any more on the tape.

Good lord, surely they won't be continuing with 60 Seconds during their Olympic coverage? That will be annoying.

Pretty sure that ALL BBC Three programming (just like most BBC One shows), at least before midnight, is pre-empted for the duration, therefore, yeah, no 60 Seconds.

Not quite correct, quoting from the BBC Trust decision on Olympic services:
Quote:
The BBC plans to extend the hours of BBC Three into daytime and to dedicate the channel predominately to Olympic coverage (although it will retain its hourly news bulletins and revert to its regular (non-Olympic) schedule at 23:00hrs ) from just before until just after the Games (19 July to 12 August 2012).
