What are the new guidelines?...is it that they must have the bird logo before the hashtag?

How the hell will Twitter police this? What are the penalties for not following this absurd narcissistic diktat?

It's not the law. It's just what Twitter want broadcasters to do to promote Twitter. Obviously there is no penalties for not doing as they ask.

Does anyone else feel slightly uncomfortable with how much of a push Kitchen Wars is getting on the channel? Pretty much every continuity link at the moment they are plugging it, and the series has already started. It's a good little show, but it does seem a bit excessive. Can't help but feel if it wasn't a 5 Production it wouldn't be getting anywhere near as much promo as this. The indies won't be impressed, that's for sure.

I guess (and this is guess work) with C5 though many viewers only view it for a short period during any given day so if they want to get the promos in front of as many eyeballs as possible they have to repeat them frequently.

Channel 5 are launching a new weekend animation block. The first show announced for it is Power Rangers Samurai.

“The latest instalment of the Power Rangers franchise: Samurai and Super Samurai are fun, action-packed programming that will appeal to young boys,” said Channel 5’s head of acquisitions Katie Keenan. “It’s a great addition to our new weekend animation block.”

Really liking the classy nature of their promotional trailers lately. Whoever comes up with these is very talented indeed. Good concepts, extremely well executed.

Such a shame though that they're on and promoting programmes for Channel 5 under Richard Desmond.

Sorry if there's an answer to this question somewhere in this thread already, as I haven't trawled through it, but does anyone know if Channel 5 HD is ever likely to go FTA, and so appear in the Freesat line-up anytime soon?

We are dropping Sky soon and will be replacing with Freesat, and as all the other main terrestrial channels have their HD channels on Freesat, as well as C5 having 5*, 5USA, and all of their +1s also on Freesat, why isn't C5 HD also on Freesat? I know it's FTV, are their contractual reasons why C5 HD hasn't gone FTA yet? Or will it always be FTV?

I've read about C5's plans not to go HD on Freeview, but there's no info out there about whether or not it will go HD on Freesat at some point in the future. Confused

Thanks for any info in advance.
