So BBC World now has the new look (News 24 style) style astons. Although tather than the bright red of News 24 they are a deeper red colour - more like the general World red.

World Business Report's also have a new look. Black but with a blue and red top. Rather nice actually.

AFAIK all the World programmes get a new look including Asia Today, the Sports News, and BBC4!

Got a look at them. Thank goodness they're not entirely the same as News 24's. They're not using Gill Sans Extra Bold, the astons are pretty much the same size as before, and the bottom half of the aston's translucent. Actually, looks a whole lot better than News 24's!

I do really like the "Headlines" aston that they show halfway through WBR! The orange on top works quite well with the translucent black strap at the bottom. Now if only the regular astons used the orange instead of the deep red... oh and the new WBR astons reminds me of the ones World used during the French elections.

BBC4's graphics are gonna be updated too? They're still quite new! But if they do change, the astons'd better be the same size with the regular astons on World... Hey, Nicky, we trust you, so we'll all look forward to BBC4 News' new astons... Smile

As usual, BBC World have seem to have done a better job with these new graphics, yet again BBC News saving their best graphics for people who don't pay the licence fee!

Focusing more on News 24 for a moment, I do believe that the "LIVE" astons above the clock on News 24 do look tacky and a bit "overcrowding" other items surrounding it too.

Do they go to the bottom of the screen? Or line up with what would the the clock?

Sorry about the quality of last 2.

Why can't News 24's line up to where the clock is?

They don't seem to be working - strange Confused

Are you allowed to use the TV Home upload facility for this? If so, I might as it takes quite q while opening up Tripod and signing in, uploading, copying etc.

I've only just realised - all new graphics for News, WBR, Asia Today etc means I've got to capture the lot! Lol!

And I've only just got the old set! Still got quite a few from that to upload!

Oh well...

Don't worry, I've got WBR covered. I've got a whole programme on tape, so I'll do some caps from that a little later on. I'll tape Asia Today tomorrow morning too.
