No, UKTV owned by Granada has been on for a while. IIRC - without looking at the link - it broadcasts in the Asia/Australia region.

Presentation lovers will also appreciate the fact that uktv talks over credits only when it's necessary to do so, and doesn't make a point of chattering on about the next programme unneccesarily.
