I'm still waiting for the NTL Local Channel to disappear! We've got 100s of radio stations on eight hundred and sixty-odd though and some strange new home shopping channel!

Aye, same here Malachi (well, it should be with you being just up the road!). Jazz FM, 5 Live and 6 Music at last! Yay!

I rang CS this afternoon and the woman told me that I would get an automatic upgrade to the new channels as we had the old base+5packs+Movies+Sports but at 8.15pm we still have got the radio stations, Star and Home Shopping Europe, does anyone else in an ex-CWC area have this problem as I really wanted to watch Sky Sports News and the EMAP stations.

I had them when they where ninex that was good as you got every channel 4 £15 exceppt movies and sport then it was the same with CW and NTL where taking channels off all the time so we went to sky it was so much better

We got UK Gold and MTV a few weeks ago - I hope they don't go and disappear now...

Bad news Benjy I believe that they disappear on Saturday as they were guest channels, but if you subscribe to them you'll be able to carry on recieving them.

STAR News has a very odd opening sequence, at least it did the last time I looked at it. It'll likely be free for around a month, I think it was on Sky, then you have to pay about £30 for it. I hardly think demand is massive.

Bloomberg has some lovely presentation, so does CNN, actually.

£10 / month for Star News and a further £10 / month for Star Plus (according to the info channel today).

Did you have analogue NTL? Reading your post that's what it looks like. Digital was never £15 for all channels (though analogue was) and NTL have never removed channels (bar SKY travel) on digital apart from when they've closed down- only on analogue. You now get every non-premium channel via digital for £26 (£16 minus phone charges)- same as SKY.

Anyway, we rung up earlier today to be transferred over tot he family pack. The woman said we would be took over within 20 minutes. We were moved over in elss than 5. 30 odd extra channels for £3 less than we were paying before. Brilliant!

Yeah, I got the new channels today too.

I assume they are going to do a massive channel renumbering thing soon, as they are all cramped up in the 800's where not everyone will find them at the moment.

I do like the little Audio animation on the radio channels, and that the Audio button goes to the last radio station you were on, and same for TV. Smile

You must be an "original" ntl: customer I assume then as we don't get that in ex-CWC areas.
