If you watch BBC News on the Internet, the continuity says something like 'To watch your regional news, press button one on your remote control...' Is this digital continuity then?

This continuity announcement is only seen on digital satellite; on DTT we see the same regional announcement at 6.30 as on analogue. Presumably though if a region failed to opt on DTT we would also get this message; I know that on analogue there is a message which says: 'We are sorry we are unable to bring you your normal regional news programme, so instead here's UK Today...' (or something like that) if a regions fails to opt out in time.
