Look out for the promo at 6.55pm tonight for SE viewers.

They showed it at 11am this morning on BBC Two. Nice 'clicky' regional opt in and out!

Good titles? What do you mean Rob?

Yeah, I'll get the trailer which includes a couple of seconds of the titles.

I mean like ones with lots of movement, unlike Points West, which is a bit boring!!

I don't see any reason why the London programme will still be called NRSE until October.

They've already moved from Elstree to Central London, and the style of BBC generic sets is such that the name of the programme title only appears on screens, rather than permenant fixtures of the set.

Also a new generic title sequence showing the shape of just London and the Home Counties - without Oxfordshire and Kent - ought to be used (and if your gonna make new titles, you'd change the name that appears at the end of them).

So is this only happening because of either or both of the following reasons:

(1) The BBC don't want two new things to happen at once (the two things being Kent departing, and London getting a new programme title)?

(2) They quite simply haven't managed to make a final decision yet on exactly what the new London programme should be called?

To part (1) above, you can add the launch of The World Today on BBC ONE, News 24 and WORLD at 5am.

Well there two good reasons, and there both probably correct.
