Java... The return...

Seems that no-on here seems to remember one of the most popular TV ident/history sites ever, but never mind...

Yay! I hope 'What If' returns. (It will, right?) And if it does, PLEASE bring back What If 2: Meridian! I loved the map ident!

I told Stu once on MSN that Java was the best TV site on the web before it closed.

And I remember several months after the site closed,someone called 'Whataday' told us on the TV Ark forum 'all the pages were still there if you start at www.java-tv.co.uk/whatif.html !' My simple reply was 'Whataday,you're a god!   ' I started to download the Spoof! Files (I couldn't in it's original state,I didn't have a good enough real player-Ok,I DIDN'T have Real Player) and then,all pages became a white screen,so,later APFS opened,I had the courage to make my own and send them off (And more-maybe colour ones in the making,folks! ) And now (I guess you don't need to put the contributions bit on anymore) Java will be back! YAY!

Indeed I do remember Java-TV, and its really lightened up my day to hear of it's return! The 12th of December is a long way away, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait! Welcome back - I'm definetly looking forward to it!

I must admit that I didnt see Java in it`s original state.As Billy said,he did tell me what a great site it was and I really cant wait for it`s return!

I enjoyed Java, and in particular, I hope that the real pre1993 Carlton ident is included!

No Real Video or Audio of any kind to start with I'm afraid. I will hope to sort that out in due course. The site may only have the What If's to start with. Please don't expect anything as snazzy as the original as I have very little time still! More time than I had but at least I am a working man now.
