It looks way better than the current yellow and black 'mess'.

You should see the DOG that they have on the channel... probably the worst kind in the world! Take that logo that you see on the site as is, and stick it onto the bottom right of the screen.

I should get a screenshot for you...

These screenshots were taken from a digital preview channel that my cable company (Shaw) is running.

On the bottom LEFT hand corner is the BBC Kids DOG. It's completely opaque!

That DOG is probably just a taster of what is to come. Knowing the BBC, the other corners will be filled with URL's and BBC logos.

*sigh*

At least BBC Kids don't crop. Dont think I'll ever be able to say that about a possible CBBC relaunch and the new CBBC digital channels.

No. Usually these 'specialty channels' just show the programs, and I don't think any of what CBBC does in terms of presentation is done on this channel. There's no Newsround-type show or any in-vision continuity. Just idents and promos.

Also on a side note, this past month the ratings for the new specialty channels that launched in Canada - including BBC Canada/Kids came. Basically, they are so low, they might be at risk of going the way of Taste CFN and the dinosaurs.
